Carbonation experiment...
So first let me state..I was never a big soda girl in my life pre-VSG, water girl all the way...
I brought these sparkling Ice drinks which is basically flavored sparkling water..
my experiment will be to sip on it for 1/2 hr to hour and see if the carbonation in the drink
bloats my sleeve a little causing a full feeling..I'm thinking if this experiment is a success
I can use these if cravings are getting the better of me, make me feel "full" and get me over the craving hump..
I'll keep you posted...
I'm not sure about that...
It would stand to reason that over indulging on dense protein or even carbs
something that sits in your stomach a while would do more damage regarding stretching
than a liquid which would essentially be a slider..was hoping the gas of the carbonation would
let it sit a little longer in my stomach. But I guess if you overindulged even a liquid could in theory cause
a stretching....
I don't have any trouble/pain/etc with carbonation as long as I take it slowly... Be warned though. You might get the farts later! Happens to me every time!

Well the experiment was a FAIL..
not because it didn't do what I thought it do but my dad called right after I finished the sparkling water
saying his chest felt heavy and he couldn't breathe...
so I told him to call 911 and I'd meet him in the ER..
so I was soooo preoccupied with that that I made no notice to how my sleeve was..
I have to say I wasn't hungry at all but DH wanted to grab something to eat after we left the hospital
dont know if it was the sparkling water or my nerves...
dads fine...no heart attack, no pneumonia...keeping for the nite for observation...
