That sensation in your stomach...
I get a weird feeling in my stomach. Not really a hunger pang but I know I need to eat something. But even when I eat the feeling in my stomach is weird. Not painful and not very pleasant. Just curious if that will go away and if eventually your stomach feels "normal" when you do eat? Hope you understand what I mean or is it just me? I'm assuming the sensation might be the feeling of food in stomach?
Yeah, I had the same sensation. It eventually goes away. It went away about a month for me.

Sometimes I eat and my stomach feels fine. Sometimes I eat and my stomach feels weird. It's annoying! I have been assuming that it is a stomach acid issue. I, too, am looking forward to 'normal' ... and wondering if this is just the new normal. I know I am only a month out and there is still healing going on.
What shall I return to the Lord for all his bounty to me?
I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord, I will pay my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful ones.
O Lord, I am your servant; I am your servant, the child of your serving girl. You have loosed my bonds. -- Psalm 116:12-16
When I get hungry now, it's different than before surgery. Now my stomach feels more "empty" than hungry. Is this maybe what you're experiencing? So, no my stomach doesn't feel normal now. For me it's my new normal! And I'm fine with it. I absolutely hate feeling full now so I make sure I don't eat too much. For me there is such a small window between being too full and just right so I try really hard to listen to my body and stop before the full sensation hits.
