Hi all,

Things have been going well since I last checked in but the last few days my sleeve has gotten noisy.  It seems like anything I eat seems to create lots of gurgling noises.  No real discomfort and while its not the biggest deal, I am curious if anyone else has experiences noisy sleeve and if so what do you do about about?  Or does it just go away on its own?  Should I go back to liquids for a few days?  Just slightly puzzled.

Thanks!

Rox

My stomach has quieted down a bit since the early months, but it's still noisy. It doesn't mean anything, at least on me. Sometimes it's a bit noisier when it's been a while since I've eaten, but for the most part it just gurgles a lot.

I was sleeved in early March, and mine gurgles a lot too! I don't think it bothers anyone but me (and it doesn't really bother me)... it's just weird!

Hello RoxStar724, I am 7 months post-op and my sleeve is still a little noisy lol.  When I lay my 11-month old granddaughter on my chest to rock her to sleep, it never fails that my sleeve starts gurgling and she holds her head up and looks at me like what was that grandma? lol.  There is no rhyme or reason as to why my sleeve makes noise.  I guess it gets bored and lonely and wants to talk to someone lol!!!  But I have gotten used to it.
