A recently published paper confirms the following points about exercise and weight management:
• Absolute energy intake is *NOT* affected by exercise mode, duration, and intensity. Myth busted, it seems, that Exercise makes you eat more...
• Aerobic training aids weight loss while resistance training preserves lean mass. Good info indicating that you really want a mixed program...
• Exercise intensity does not affect weight loss when energy expenditure is matched. So High intensity or low, burning the calories seems to be what count**** has other good qualities however, unrelated to weight (my opinion)....
• Higher within-week exercise frequency and quantity lead to more weight loss. Kinda makes sense...
