Another "What'd you take to the hospital?" Post
I wore a super loose dress to and from the hospital, so I didn't take a change of clothes. I took chapstick. I took my kindle, iPhone, and charging cables for both. I also took an external charger in case I couldn't reach a socket.
I didn't use my kindle at all... but I wouldn't leave the house without it, so I'm not sad that I took it.

I brought normal, everyday toiletries. I also brought my own pillow. They will get you up walking soon after surgery so you need walking shoes or slippers. They let me change into a tshirt and sweats so I was very comfortable. I also brought my phone, ipad, and chargers. My iPad kept my mind off of everything, including the pain.

I wore there what I wore home, leggings and sweatshirt (no bra). Phone/devices and chargers. Slippers are a good idea so you keep the hospital socks clean after walking around every few hours. You can bring toiletries, but my hospital provided toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash. Extra socks and underwear.

Good Luck! Like others I wore very loose clothing. I brought my kindle, phone and laptop but honestly, I didn't really need my laptop or kindle. I was rather sleepy and not in the mood to read. Chapstick was good and the hospital had little sponges on a stick so you could swipe water around my mouth without drinking. Those were a God send.
Wishing you the best.
