On the good side though, I haven't gained any weight either. If you're going to lecture me, bash me, etc please don't bother responding. I need help, I don't need to feel any worse than I already do.

Since about Thanksgiving, things have been really rough at my house and I had been trying to chug along...but began making some really bad food choices and doing a lot of grazing. I want to restart my weight loss, but I'm not 100% sure how to do that. I'm 3 months out from surgery and the call from my surgeon's office yesterday to check on me really gave me a wakeup call.

I've lost 30lbs since surgery, almost all of it within the first 6 weeks. Also, I've gone from a bmi of 45 down to a bmi of 38. Since then almost no loss. I thought about rebooting my diet...starting over with liquids for 2 weeks, moving on to a 600-800 calorie diet and making sure I get all of my 90-120g of protein per day (Which is something I've severely lacked in the last 6 weeks or so) Has anyone had any experience with this type of thing? Falling off the wagon so to speak and then getting back on? Have I lost my "window of opportunity"? Will this work? Before anyone ask, yes I'm in therapy and that's another thing that's been a huge wakeup call for me. Any advice on this "reboot"?

Get yourself back on tract with the water a protein.  Your sleeve is still there, us it by eating the proper foods.  You probably have been eating carbs or sweets so that has stopped the weight lose.  reboot yourself starting now and in no time you will see results!

I'm s stress eater and in the beginning it really took some effort me to break old habits.  Now i walk, lift some weights, housework, or a work on a project to take my mind off things.  Good luck to you!

The water and protein are my biggest priorities now. Tonight I made 2 chicken tenderloins for dinner....I ate about 3.5 oz of them and I'll have a scoop of Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea in 16 oz of water  to sip throughout the rest of the night. Tomorrow I'm thinking I'm going to stick with protein shakes for the next week, and then go back to 800 calories or less starting next Sunday. I've gotta stop eating those carbs and sweets...(yes, I've been doing both) and that won't be too hard now that the holidays are gone and they're not constantly in the house. Also I had no issues keeping away from them for the first 6 weeks after surgery so now shouldn't be a problem. The grazing is my biggest issue. I'm finding myself having the guts of a breakfast burrito for example in the morning, and I'll eat maybe 1/4 of it. Then 2 hours later I'll eat another 1/4, 2 hours later another 1/4, etc. I need to start giving my food away to someone else when I've eaten my 3-4 oz so I'm not tempted to keep snacking on it throughout the day. I have a husband and a 17 year old son both with very healthy appetites so this shouldn't be a problem lol.

Thank you for your advice, I really do appreciate it

I don't have a lot of experience getting back on track with a sleeve (sleeved just 5 weeks ago) but I have lots of experience with rebooting. It is so great that your head is not buried in the sand and that you are AWARE. Unfortunately, awareness hurts but feel it and move thru it by changing your course.  Plan and shop for your food for the next several days. Clear out grazing foods from the house.  Think of how great you will feel in a week once you are back on plan.

As a newbie, I don't have a vote but if it were me I would just work on getting protein and liquid requirements in.  Fluids stage....EW!

I don't think for a second that you have lost your window of opportunity.  Not even close.

Thank you Shel!

With the kids home for winter break we had lots and lots of snacks, grazing foods, sweets, etc in the house. I didn't do well with it. Now that they're back in school for the semester, it will be a lot easier to keep it out of the house. I really hope you're right! I want this to work!! I NEED this to work!

First, glad you reached out instead of continuing the behavior.

Next, know that this is a great moment to start over. You messed up (like everyone else), but now you're looking ahead.

What can you do NOW to make a better food choice at your next meal? What can you do differently today and first thing in the morning?

Do you have clearance to exercise? Could you start the morning with a walk? Could you fix some healthy choices tonight for your meals tomorrow? Small steps. Measure out your water for the day, plan how you'll get your protein. Is there anything you need to throw out?

Meg, I know I did the right thing by coming to my OH family. I had just chicken tenderloin for dinner and I'll be starting a liquid diet for at least a week starting tomorrow morning. I've also decided I'll eliminate my biggest excuse for not going for walks by getting an exercise bike tomorrow from my sister. It's been unseasonably cold here so I used that as my excuse for not going out for walks. No more excuses!
Thank you for your advice, Meg!!

Talk to your nutritionist and they will give you guidelines to reboot. Don't look back, just move forward. We're all going to make mistakes along the way. You'll get back on track. I know you will.

Thank you! I've felt like such a failure the last few days since I've really been thinking about it. I've been really down on myself but I know I need to get back on the horse and chug along!

I have read many posts on here (VSG and RNY) about people who have gotten back on track and done well. You can too. Don't drive yourself crazy trying to figure out what to do... start with the same basics we all had. Eat your protein first, count your protein and drink your water. Start there. Good Luck!
