Hey pals, quick question about re entering wl mode. I know it has been mentioned here before about how to get back on track, for me however I never really went off track. I got to goal in month 9 and haven been maintaining for 3 mths within 4lbs. The only major changes for me in maintenance are higher cals 1600ish from 950 in wl and higher carbs around 150 per day. I now want to loose another 10 or 15 and am wondering what the best approach wld be to kick start wl again. I wld assume just go back to what was working before however I am wondering if 900 cals and 40 carbs max is going to be enough for me now that I am this far out. Also does anyone recommend a carb detox with shakes for a few days?

I think dense protein and green non starchy veggies with the calories and carbs you mentioned would probably work. Try it. If you don't see a loss then tweek again. I don't know abt the shakes. I have one now and then when I feel like a protein coffee or a protein hot chocolate but its rare and usually its a snack now whereas it was a meal before. Not sure I could go the shake route again...

Going back to shakes for a few days is no different than any other fad diet.  Just get back to your basics and work on reducing your calories.  Maybe drop 100 calories a day for a week, then another hundred for the next week, et****il you start losing again.  Sort of the opposite of finding the right caloric intake for maintenance.
