Feeling better today -- but I am so tired of not sleeping!!  Can't sleep at night--my mind is always racing, so I end up dozing during the day.  Hate that - makes me feel like I'm wasting my life away.  I have to drive a friend to an appointment every morning at 6:00 - if I take my axiety medication, I can sleep but then I'm way too groggy first thing in the morning.  Can't wait for the frigid weather to be over - seems I have more energy when it's warmer.  (I know, ***** ***** ***** - never happy!)

Went to the  dentist, it seems your teeth do not get better with weightloss. LOL Although the dentist did tell me one of my BP meds I am scheduled to stop CAN help my gums. Anyway, it really messed up my eating schedule so I have been improvising.

That salad sounds delicious! Do you make the meatballs yourself?

Oh yeah! I use two packages of perdue ground chicken. Finely mince veggies in the food processor, squeeze a little I'd the juice out. Add it to the chicken with one egg and a bunch of spices like chili powder,  onion powder,  parsley. Form into meatballs and bake until done at 375. I heat them as needed in a pan with buffalo sauce.

I usually use different veggies depending on what I have in the fridge. This time i used carrots,  celery, onion,  few cloves of garlic.

Hi Mary,

I've been having trouble sleeping as well.  I lay in bed and think about what might calm me - a glass of wine or a serving of some food.  I don't give in to it.  I'm not going to blow my weight loss with late night snacks, but its been frustrating.  Sorry you are having trouble, as well.  I hope it passes soon.

Breakfast - harvest chicken salad

Lunch1 - hamburger with cheddar cheese

Lunch2 -  chicken and broccoli casserole

Dinner - mustard crusted flank steak - yum

vitamins - good

water - also good

exercise - recumbent bike
