Cleaned my closet today

With all of the positive comments I received from my before and after photos the other day. I decieded to toss all of the clothing I've been afraid to get rid of.  Three large trash bags went to goodwill. 4x to 2x shirts and 48 to 38 pants. I never would have guessed I would fit loosely into a XL shirt and a 36 pant. Now to loose the last 30lbs and see where it takes me. I can't beleive how much better I feel and the energy I have now. God I love my sleeve.

I know the feeling.  I just moved into an apartment after staying with my parents for 5 months.  I emptied my storage and almost none of the clothes still fit.  I guess when I drop the clothes of at goodwill I may have to shop.  No sense in spending lots of money when I am still losing.  I will hit the mall when I reach my goal.  It feels great doesn't it?

I'd always hung onto my larger clothes in the past when I'd lose weight.  This time, I got rid of them - a commitment to myself that I would never need those clothes again!  I kept 1 item as a reminder, and my big T shirts to wear as night shirts, but everything else went.  What a wonderful and freeing experience that was!  My side of the closet and my bureau drawers were pretty empty for awhile, but slowly they began filling up again, with clothes that fit and that I liked - not just things that would do because they fit.    Congratulations on your success and taking this leap of faith in yourself!

I saved one shirt (4x) and one pair of pants size 48 to serve as a reminder.

Congratulations! I did some cleaning out of the closet this weekend too. 9 grocery bags full of clothes. What's sad is how much is still in my closet

Strut around in your XL shirt and 36 size pants with pride!

Super awesome!  I saved my largest pair of jeans and one of my largest shirts so I can take one of those awesome "both of my legs are in one leg of my old pants" pictures.  ;)

That it totally awesome! I was just sleeved on 12/4 and I know what you mean about loving my new stomach! I couldn't say this a few days after surgery, but now that I'm getting my energy back and losing weight, YES, so glad I had the surgery. Congratulations.
