I felt the same way!! These posts gave me hope, and still do, seeing as I'm only in the pureed stage.

Best of luck with surgery!!

I felt the same way pre-op :)  I also spent a lot of time looking at restaurant menus playing the "what will I be able to eat here" game.  It was oddly reassuring to me.

Me too.  And I still do it.  It's like a puzzle trying to figure out what is the best choice protein-wise, and what appeals to my foodie side.
