Curious if any is familiar with reading through upper gi results. I got it done over the summer because been having numerous issues and the surgeon was very dismissive. I will be getting a second opinion soon, but first I have some other appts to tend to, starting with a colonoscopy. I pasted it below, if anyone can help me figure out a little more detail on the bold bits I'd appreciate it.

" Findings:

The patient drank barium without difficulty. The distal esophagus appeared normal in caliber without evidence of filling defect or narrowing, or extrinsic compression. There is a large sliding hiatal hernia.   There is an irregular appearance of the proximal stoma*****luding the cardia and lesser curvature. Contrast appears to distend the distal stomach. There is incomplete delineation between the gastric sleeve and the excluded portion of the stomach.    Contrast passed promptly through a normal pyloric channel into a non-dilated duodenum.   Impression:    Status post sleeve gastrectomy with deformity of the proximal stomach as described above, as well as contrast filling the remainder of the stomach. Correlate with surgical history to assess complete vs incomplete sleeve and the approximate size of excised stomach.   Large sliding hiatal hernia"

I can't see your image, but I've often found that googling the words in imagery/test reports gives me insight.

The sliding hiatal hernia means your stomach is going through your diaphragm into your thoracic area by your esophagus. The part about your proximal stomach is talking about the part at the top looking irregular and the distal portion is at the bottom of your stomach, it sounds as if your sleeve does not look like it should and it might not be as restrictive as expected.  Just my interpretation of course it is best to ask your surgeon or whoever ordered the test.  Hope all is well.Sheila
