Okay, I know every insurance company and surgeon have their own requirements, but that being said, has anyone experienced Weigh****chers and primary care physician supervision directly prior to initial visit "counting". I so don't want to wait six more months ! I'm half way to my 20%.

I believe that my insurance allowed that with receipts as proof. But you should call the number on your card and ask.

With BCBS it meant doctor signoff on monthly weigh in visits.  We had a form the doctor had to fill out with our weight, vitals, etc...and progress notes.  I signed up for weigh****chers online, to have some sort of tracking, but what the insurance company wanted was something from a physician.  My husband saw the doctors at the non-surgical weight loss side of our program, a combo of Optifast and high protein low carb plan, with monthly weigh ins..and that's what was submitted to the insurance company.  We had to do 3 months.

Surgery Date: 12/9/14 - Highest Weight: 349 - Surgery Weight: 305 - Current Weight: 137
Goal reached in 13 months - 212 total pounds lost including pre-op
(M1: -20) (M2: -18) (M3: -11) (M4: -11) (M5: -14) (M6: -1) (M7: -18) (M8: -7) (M9: -15)

(M10: -13) (M11: -7) (M12: -10) (M13: -10) (M14 -6) (M15: -7) - 168 lbs lost post-op

This question is best posted to the insurance co.  I've some fine with consistent records at ww, but others insisted on doc supervised weekly visits.
