Vitamins: Best...more Natural
I have never really had a problem not absorbing my vitamins. I am 4 years post op and never really taken much. Right now my fingernails are cracking in the middle and breaking off and lifting off and I am totally exhausted. From what I've read it could be thyroid, iron deficiency but more than likely malnutrition.
I'm thinking I probably at least need some calcium. I try to remember my Vitamin D but don't always get it in. I don't like taking anything at all and so glad I had the VSG where we don't normally have to take much anyway.
Does anyone know what a good calcium/magnesium/Vitamin D or whatever else that it should be combined with and that is possibly very natural. I've heard many brands are mostly fillers.
Thanks!
My program does regular blood work twice a year to check vitamin levels. I'm meticulous about taking my vitamins, yet I've had to add supplements of more calcium and more B12 and B1 over the past 2 years. You should check with your doctor and get some blood work done. Keep yourself healthy!

I'd recommend having a slew of labs done, so you know what you need to take.
