I need help with getting in all my water! I don't even make it to 40oz! Yikes i know! Maybe why my last 3 pounds to onderland are hanging on lol. Any tips? I just bought a 64oz bottle so I can walk with all day. Prior to surgery had no problems with water but now I'm not even thirsty.

Set a timer to go off every 15 minutes and, every time it does, take a few sips.  Annoying, but it'll get you drinking your liquids!

When I was struggling, I had water goals before I could eat.  20oz required before bfast, lunch and dinner.  If you are hungry and not done drinking -- get that fluid in!

Here are some things to try:

    • Different flavors
    • Different temperatures
    • Take a sip before you do anything
    • Take a sip after you do everything
    • Take a sip when you see a commercial on TV
    • Take a sip every time you see a lawyer commercial
    • Take a sip every time you see food on TV
    • You get it - make up drinking games!

I do like Stacy does - a certain goal by certain times, otherwise it gets overwhelming to try and catch up. I eat and drink by the clock (during the week at least, it's a little harder on the weekends when my schedule is less predictable) - 20 oz then coffee/protein shake, 20 oz before lunch, 20 oz before afternoon snack, 20 oz before dinner, and 20-30 oz after dinner.  Sometimes I'll break it up even more - like 8 oz during this meeting, 16 oz before my next meeting, etc. You can't wait to be hungry or thirsty to eat and drink, especially at this point.

I had some struggles until I started drinking warm tea throughout the day.  I'm addicted to Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime.

I carry a 17 ounce plastic water bottle with me that I fill up and drink four times a day using a shot of berry pomegranate enhancer to make it tastier.  Then I drink at least four huge cups of tea.  You definitely need to increase your water intake or you'll have a myriad of problems including constipation, stalled weight loss and dehydration.  Because we eat so much protein, we need plenty of fluids to flu**** out.

Hit makes a big difference for me. I'm addicted to Starbucks chai latte - I finally found a sugar free alternative called Oregan chai. I'm early stages so mixed with milk it's a double win for my protein count!
