Unjury vitamins make me puke. Literally.

I had a chewable unjury vitamin a few minutes ago, followed by a water chaser.  Those things taste pretty foul, and I now understand why my doctor encourages double doses of childrens chewable vitamins initially.  Anyway, within three minutes I felt nauseated, then like I had to burp, and up it all came.  It didn't hurt to vomit, thankfully, but it was a real shock.

Has this happened for anyone else?

I'm 12 days post-op

Are you taking them after eating?  For me, I had to take them after I already had something in my stomach, even if just a protein shake.

Thanks, that may be my problem. I took it on an empty stomach. I'll try taking it with food, as soon as I'm allowed some :)

I still can't take ANY vitamin on an empty stomach - instant nausea!  The trick is to take it after you have food and do NOT chase it down with water.  That's going to make it come back up too.

I used Unjury vitamins and had no problem with them - IF I took them with food and didn't drink afterward.

I crush my bariatric multivitamin and mix it with plain greek yogurt (maybe an ounce) and it's much more palatable.  I take the Opurity vitamins and they made me very nauseated until I started using the yogurt.  Not an issue since then.
