My doctor has suggested Bariatric Fusion vitamins, but I'm wondering if there are other choices that might be a bit less expensive. I would love to hear what others are taking. Thanks so much!

I am by far, no expert. However, I can tell you what I use that my doctors are ok with.

Vitafusion Women's Complete Multivitamin Gummies, Vitafusion Power C Gummies, Phillips Fiber Good plus Energy Support, and Caltrate Calcium & D3 soft chews.

I just had my blood work done to check my vitamin levels and it all came out great!

Definitely, talk with your dr. tho to get some alternative inexpensive vitamin options. :)

I take Centrum (without iron) chewables from Walmart and my last blood work was perfect according to my doctor. My calcium is Twinlab Calcium Citrate chewable wafers, citrus flavored. I buy these from our local health food store.

Since March I have been using the patchmd.com multi plus. It has everything in one pat*****luding calcium. No swallowing pills anymore. Personally I have a really strong gag reflex and swallowing even the tiniest of pills was always a problem for me even before surgery. So I am very happy with the patches. I felt like I was somehow cheating because it is so easy to stick a patch on your hip or shoulder! I was worried about how legit these are. Had extensive labs done last month and everything is absolutely perfect. I got a one year supply for 143$ - they have a promo code on OH2015. That is 12 bux a month for ALL my vitamin AND calcium needs.

A patch?! Really?! OMG that sounds way too good to be true! I've never heard of that. I am going to have to check that out as I'm worried about the vitamins making me sick and the taste afterwards. Thanks!

Whatever is in the patch is enough for me. I have never had an iron deficiency before or after surgery. I think that's just me though. I have not taken iron since surgery at all - and I have only used the patches since March. But if you need extra iron they have a patch for that too.

I currently have to take iron so after surgery I'm sure I will as well. I didn't see an iron patch on that website sadly....unless I missing it?
