I've set mfp to track; calories, carbs, fat, protein and sugar

I wasn't sure if sodium should be tracked as well.. just curious what others keep track of.

I have mine set to show calories, protein, fat, carbs, sugar, and fiber. I tracked sodium (instead of fiber) pre-op but took it off my view when I my BP started to run low unmedicated anyway.

I use it to track everything. I adjusted the "goals" it sets to be more in line with what I aim to meet. Most important is protein, calories and carbs for me.

I track the cals, carbs, fat, protein fiber, and sodium. I want to keep my sodium intake reasonable. I'm bad for the salty snacks and I want to stay mindful about how much sodium I'm getting.

Calories, carbs, fat, protein, sodium, sugar. In the notes I jot down my vitamin intake and any food that I can't get locate very well in the food database. I also adjusted the goals for calories, carbs, sodium and protein. I've found it so useful.

You can only select that amount to show up on your diary screen, however, if you are ever curious you can find out the numbers on any of the options. Go to reports and set it to display whatever it is you are looking for. I track the same as you listed. I also dealt with issues with low blood pressure and eventually one of the docs caught that my sodium levels (per blood work) were really low. I started paying attention to the sodium numbers, and I was no where near the daily goal. Increased my sodium and my dizziness/lightheadeness/fainting stopped. So in a nutshell, track the ones that impact YOU specifically the most, but you can still access any of it when needed.

It tracks everything, as long as what you input is accurate. All the information is there, but as HappyTeacher said above, you have to look for some of it.

The only thing I really care about is calories. On my worst day I get 150 grams of protein, and I don't care about carbs, fat, sodium, or anything else.

Too many calories make me gain weight, so that's what I pay attention to.

I like to track sodium because I find that if I take in too much that I retain water, which adds a couple of pounds to the scale.
