I ran the Colorado Springs Half marathon yesterday in 2:01:45. I tried to PR, but was not feeling good. oh well, I'm running the Denver Rock N Roll half next month. I'll try and PR then.

I think running a half marathon is a PR in and of itself :D

I don't know what a PR is, but congrats on running a half marathon! Seriously, big congrats. It's a big accomplishment for anyone, and for someone posting on a weight loss forum, I expect it's a huge step from where you were before.

PR is short for personal record. Every time I run a race, I try and run a PR. It's the competitive side of me I guess.

Wow that's awesome. I have one more class and then I have to wait for insurance approval. Congratulations to you. I can't wait for my surgery date.

I still count grocery shopping as "exercise." Congrats on your accomplishment (PR or not), and for setting a good example for those of us (e.g. me) who have yet to find the motivation to exercise seriously.
