I'm sorry - it's always challenging when life throws us curve balls. This is one of the reasons I keep going to therapy, even if I think "I'm fine" because, eventually, something will happen that will get me off kilter.

I am so sorry that all of these things have happened. I think your words should be framed somewhere.

For the rest of our lives there will be challenges that will seem like good enough excuses to go off track. Putting yourself first is the way to stay as strong and healthy as possible.

I am so sorry to hear of all these stressful heartbreaking things happening. Life can indeed be hard at times. I truly hope you will be able to weather these storms and beat that cancer too.

I should have clarified more on cancer... in the past some was quite serious. The most recent was just a patch of skin cancer that came back melanoma- margins were cleared and it was caught very early so no big deal. I have had a 100 different skin cancer spots and it is always the same- as long as you don't let it go and keep up on your skin checks it all goes well. It was more or less just the lousy timing of the biopsy results and not so much cancer itself if that makes sense.
