NeoCitran OK?

VSG on 03/21/19

Not sure if we're allowed to take the medication in NeoCitran (acetaminophen) to treat head colds. Does anyone have advice? I haven't been sick or had a need for OTC pain meds since before surgery and have forgotten what I was told.

VSG on 10/31/16

Acetominophen (Tylenol) is fine, it's ibuprofen and Advil and other NSAIDs that you need to avoid.

Yup, acetaminophen is just fine! If in doubt, give your surgeon's office a ring, they're good at answering questions like this :)
