WPS Insurance

Has anyone here had any success in getting WLS paid for with WPS insurance?  I am inquiring for a friend who would like to be a WLS buddy to me...a neighbor of mine.  She has been managing to hit every roadblock her insurance can come up with.  She is 5'4" and 310# with numerous co-morbidities.  I'm not sure what the issues are, I just offered to help her be a bit more aggressive in her application today.
