Insurance Change from AETNA to United Health

Hi all, my Insurance will be changing around March from AETNA to UNITED HEALTH.
Does anyone know if UNITED HEALTH accept all the records and Insure the surgery after it was already accepted by AETNA however the surgery date was after the acceptance?
Also will United Health pay for the fills? thanks.
