Hi,     Protein drinks are just not working for me so I'm looking for alternatives. Has anyone used the nonflavored protein powder with the Crystal light? If so, what is the consistency of the drink and how does it taste?                          Thanks In Advance

I use the Unjury Unflavored powder with Ice Tea Crystal Light and it's not bad.  I use quite of bit ice tea with 2 scoops since it counts as my water also so I do about 30 oz of tea - it tastes 95% like ice tea - not thick.  If I used less crystal light - it might taste worse.  But it's liveable which is difficult for me to say with many of them.

Hi Tazzy, I'm 4 months post-op and the two drinks I can tolerate and I actually enjoy are the Fuzzy Naval by Nectar but I do mix some Crystal lite sunrise orange and pinapple in with it - YUMMY! Also my next favorite is vanilla unjury in decaf coffee - very good.   Hope this helps! Jean

I add the unflavored to a cup of chicken broth.  I also add some garlic and poultry seasoning and you can't even taste the protein powder!!

 Sometimes I will mix plain (no taste) protein powder to Crystal light orange drink and it it not bad.  I know what you are talking about with the protein drinks. I was drinking them for 2 months prior to surgery and by the time I was 3 to 4 months post op I could not stand looking at them anymore.  I am now back to drinking them.  I don't think the consistency of the plain whey and the crystal light orange drink is too bad. It is thick when you mix it with  V-8 juice but I can get it down.

We also mix the Isopure clear protein liquid drinks with Crystal Light and V-8 Splash, so it isn't all granular.  We also make Jello with Isopure clear/V-8 Splash for the liquid to have protein-enhanced jello snacks.

I've been drinking the unflavored whey protein w/crystal light since day 1, I'm about 10 months post op and I still love it to me it's like I'm just drinking crystal light..I like the orange or the grapefruit with my protein in the early early morning. I use the Now Sport unflavored Whey protein it's about 25 grams of protein and 105 calories with only 1 sugar and 1 carb.. not bad I do have other proteins I use but that one above is my main staple and I won't go without. good luck in finding the perfect protein for you...

Many Blessings
