There are about 12 g of carbs for each 8oz of milk. so that is how ou would count it by the milk. There is also protein in the milk so that balances it out some. Jess

I work at Starbucks...
DO NOT DRINK THEM IF YOU DUMP!
The mocha for the Chocolate Banana is made with suger and the Orange Mango Banana is made with Naked Juice but still has suger in it.
Personally I'm not fan of them, I think they taste nasty.....but I understand the general public will be interested in them.
Can I suggest something?
If you are looking for a "meal replacement" at Starbucks...I suggest...
Grande Blended SF Vanilla made with 1/2 and 1/2, 4 pumps of sf vanilla syrup, 1/2 scoop ice, and 1/2 scoop frozen bananas (if you can tolerate them, if not, have them use a full scoop of ice), and the new fiber/protein powder. Or take a scoop of your own protein powder - some stores will go ahead and allow personal additions. Also if you like thing sweeter tasting....have them throw a packet or two of splenda in when blending. Of course, you can always use any of the SF syrups if you dont' like vanilla. I also do SF caramel.
Hope this helps.

I've only dumped on milk sugars combined with some refined carbs that were considerably less total sugars than this - something about milk sugars sends lots of people over the edge - so this would be bad news for a postop in my humble opinion.......try the recommendation from a known barista - her suggestion sounded cool ! Is that what they are calling them Vivanno. I heard Starbuck's is test marketing 2 Protein Smoothies (strawberry banana and chocolate banana) Looks like the sugars (banana, cocoa, milk, whey powder) are pretty high and generally that is what makes most smoothies become not a good choice for RNYer's... dump city.
I think I'll just stick to my latte and a cheesestick or protein bar (probably end up with more protein in the end)
