Trail mix: To make my own or buy it store bought is the question.
What I keep in my pockets: small amounts of plain walnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, dry roasted peanuts, roasted plain soy nuts, Cheerios, plain banana chips (no sugar added), Wasa light rye crackers, beef jerkey.
I copied and pasted the above. I make my mix out of theses (except for the beef jerkey). With the mix I add some raisins, Triskets, and Wheat Thins too. I start with about 30% Cheerios and then about 10% each for the rest of the items. Just me. Brian

WLSers should probably avoid most store-bought trailmix. If you look at the ingredients, they tend to be high in sugar, carbs, sodium and/or, as far as non-DSers are concerned, fat ..
You're much better off making your own, using choice ingredients to minmize the above as much as possible ..
Maybe some members have some great recipes for same to share (Eggy?)

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "
