Tylenol PM and Restless Leg Syndrome
Hi. I am just wondering if it is ok to take Tylenol PM. I am three months post op Lap RNY. I can't sleep at night and I have horrible RLS and have had it all my life. I just thought it would get better with the weight loss but to be honest it is worse which makes no sense to me. I need something to help me sleep. Any suggestions? Thanks so much.
It's hard to find, but tylenol pm comes in liquid form. My doctor said this is ok to take.
However, if you aren't in pain, you can take benadryl ( which is the active ingredient in tylenol pm that causes drowsiness). I recently discovered benadryl strips ( which dissolve on your tongue).
All that being said, this is just my experience and I'm wondering if your doctor has had any suggestions for the RLS?
best,
DD

Thanks so much. I didn't know that came in a liquid. I am fine with the capsules now. I am gonna ask my doctor about the RLS. I remember having it as a young child. It is just getting worse now and even gives me problems during the day. When I try to go to bed at night I cannot keep them still. Thanks so much for the info. I have just got to have some rest.
