My Mom gets bad migraines.  What about soy, B2, and magnesium?

I have to say I don't know much about soy.  I don't really care for the taste of it, so I don't eat it.

As for the other --

Riboflavin (B2) in high doses (400mg) and magnesium, also in high doses (600mg) have been shown to reduce migraine frequency -- both typically showing efficacy around the 3 month mark.

Neither really can get too much of.

If you decide to do magnesium, you should do magnesium citrate in capsules -- NOT LIQUID.  Someone is trying to tell me that it's a laxative on another thread, but they don't realize that capsule form is not, and oxide just does not have the bioavailability.

Vitalady sells the mag citrate in the capsules.  I'll warn you -- they're pretty good size and you'll need 5 at a time, seperated by calcium and taken with C.  You can get the B2 anywhere, highest I've seen are 100mg capsules -- but I could be wrong and there could be higher dose somewhere I've not seen yet.

That is a great FYI Andrea...I don't suffer with that, but for those who do...I hope they get that information.  Thanks!

More power to you. They make me just as miserable as plain old breakfast sausage does, and there is not enough protein to make them worth it for me.

I haven't been able to tolerate sausage products of any sort since WLS, either.

These have 18 grams of protein for 1 patty.

Not all of their products are worth eating nutritionally wise

but these have good numbers

Excessive soy products may contribute to symptomatic hypothyroid and then to hypothyroid.  I almost destroyed mine one time when I was trying to eat healthy and consumed daily dosages of soy.  But - in my case - that was reversible.
Now - I am careful how much soy I eat. Also - soy and any other beans give me such a bad gas  - that is is simply not worth the trouble.
Like most frozen foods - it is a highly process food.  We are best to eat as many "real" foods as possible.  And last point - soy protein has only App~60 on a scale of bio-availability of proteins while whey isolate has ~100-140.  That means that our body only \can utilize app 50-60 % of the protein from soy.  (google that)

I love them too and yes a great source of protein.  I don't eat them all the time just once every 2 weeks or so.  Another great thing to have on hand....(just found them last week) - Salmon burgers from Costco.  23grams per burger and they are darn tasty (if you like salmon).
