I cannot believe my luck, woke up sneezing, itchy eyed so I took allergy meds. I called the doctor's office and they said I could take my allergy meds in the morning. Has anyone had surgery postponed becouse of the same issue?

I have allergies each winter and fall. I had runny nose and sneezing the day of surgery. It wasn't a factor. I had my surgery.

Thank you for your posts, it makes me feel better knowing other have had  simular issues.
Until about an hour ago I was really ok. Now that I am on liquids for the rest of the night, not that it really matters, I had a protein drink today, and have not been hungary, so I just trying to keep hydrated. But the reality that I am getting ready to pack my bag, I am freaking out inside!

Whether it is stress or allergies I cannot have this postponed, work would become a huge issue! So, even if I wake up totally stuffed up I can hopefully clear it up before checking in the surgical suite at 11am...this is my goal.

Thanks,
Shelly
