Light at the end of the tunnel.

I finally got  all the pre-surgery procedures done,  I'm scheduled for massive hernia surgery surgery on Monday morning.  No regular surgery will do it because of my medical history.  So, I had to go to a specialist in the next county. A  plastic surgeon will be attendance so he can give me an accurate date to do my plastic surgery. At this time, he estimates that it should be in mid-June.   After have a nightmare of the past 19 months,  it's finally coming to an end.  The best part?  After the panniculectomy,  I'll be at goal or slightly below.

Thank you.  Once I hit goal,  the real journey begins in maintaining. As far as thing better in the light,  it depends on the wattage of the bulb.  Some lights are better than others  Being at goal is the best light there is.

Can they do the plastics now?

If they are putting mesh in be very very careful with a TT.  I've seen a body completely reject the TT skin clear to me**** was horrible.

Can I ask a dumb question?  What is TT? 
I've tried since January to have both done at the same time.  But because of everything I've been through the past 1 1/2 years.  No general or plastic surgeon wants to risk me having more complications.  Besides, the hernias are to massive.(Within 3 months of my rny back in 09/09,  I had 3 more operations and on a ventalator because of complications due my rny).

TT= Tummy tuck.

It gets to be a problem with mesh because they lift the skin and stretch it, cutting off the extra.  My abdomen is numb from ribcage to waist.

Thanks for the TT.  I have the hernias taken care of tomorrow.  From what the plastic surgeon told me,  before I leave the hospital,  he will set up the surgical date for my excess skin.
