Help..Surgery tomorrow and all my positivity shaken
I wouldn't reschedule - you have to quit second guessing yourself at some point. Almost all of us were scared/nervous but at some point you just have to jump.
And no offense to Pumpkin, but there are "studies" that prove anything and everything, including one that likely says the moon is made of green cheese.
You sound like a believer (I noticed you prayed over everything). I am too. Do you believe God gets "tired" or "stressed" in the afternoon and won't be able to bring you through you surgery as safely as he would have had it been scheduled in the a.m.? Silly, isn't it?
You'll do just fine - and tomorrow night it will be all over and you'll wake up on the loser's bench!!!
Take care and keep us posted!

I understand. Mine was scheduled for 11:00 am and was delayed until 6:00 pm! It was a long day. So pretty outside...I kept going out and saying, "will I ever see another day like this"? Talk about pity party! I told my surgeon to go put his feet up and eat a nice snack...he laughed and said he would take a break.
I am fine. I suffered no ill effrects from a late surgery. I think it might have been better because I slept it off. Keep us posted and we will see you back here soon! Connie

You'll do great! My guess is that most people get last minute jitters. I was in the hospital bed, wearing the hospital gown, with this crazy central line running up my arm and into my chest somewhere -- I looked at my husband and asked, "Is it too late to just go home?" And my husband said, "Hell no. Say the word and I'll get you out of here." I think he was even more worried than I was. But I stayed and I am so very glad I did. No regrets.
Congratulations! May you have little pain and great results!
