I normally wear one with underwire, this definitely isnt happening now as I have 2 incision under around the area. I have to wear something, but sports bra makes me very uncomfortable and makes my huge boobs so heavy. Any other ideas? I had RNY on the 25th.

You could try getting a comfort bra or a sleeping bra. You can call lingerie stores to see if they carry those. Good luck.

When visiting my surgeon's office for the first time post surgery, he noticed i was holding the center of my bra away from my chest. He folded a piece of gauze to about 2" square and told me to place it between bra and incision. No more pain and worry that i might irritate the incision. Wore gauze this way for the next 3 weeks - til it was time for a smaller bra! good luck!

I had surgery on Monday also.  I found myself stripping my bra off in the car on the way home!.
