Still without power!

This freak snow storm has been a drag here in CT- many towns are still without power, and it isn't going to be bac****il at least this coming Sunday! It is COLD, around freezing at night. My poor little animals! We're all snuggled in bed together.

I have been going to the nearby mall to warm up and charge our cell phone and my iPad. We'll go to a friend's today to shower.

BRRRR!!! I'm glad I don't live in the old days!

Oh my Gosh Anne  !!  (((((()))))) i had  heard about the power outages due to the freakishly early and heavy snow (!!!!  )   but had no idea  they  were affecting households this drastically .

(((((())))))))) my heart goes out to you !  I'd be happy to offer U my  guest house here in Brooklyn (  a rent stabilized one bedroom  prewar apartment -  its quite nice actually )   but I'm pretty sure U wouldn't consider leaving Ur furbabies to be babysat ..

Its there if U need it though .  Has a VERY nice 1930s small swimming pool size tub!   U could garment district -sale  and see shows on Broadway  and go home when everything  was restored if U like ...

Ur 100 %  WELCOME   - pm me

You are so sweet for the offer! But because of our fur babies, we are going to keep roughing it. Maybe it won't take as long as Sunday, hope, hope!

Being w/o power sucks -  I am so sorry!   I hope you have a fireplace.  We have a wood stove, and it saved us last winter when we lost power for about 3 days.  We even cooked on it.  For me, the worst was the inconvenience of no lights, food going bad in the fridge, etc.   Hang in there.

We lost power at my boyfriends house on Saturday for 24 hours, he was stir crazy after about 2 hours we had to go out to the casino.  lol lol  Luckily my house never lost it at all.  I hope you get it back sooner then Sunday, I have been keeping a spreadsheet of the numbers and they are down to only 526046 homes without power.  That sucks!
