my left thigh alternates between feeling very warm to feeling very cold?
Possible DVT or even some type of nerve compression because I sit so many hours because of my job?

I am pre-surgery, about 140 lbs overweight

DVT would be warm, red, and painful to the touch; usually behind the knee.

I recently had DVT with no redness but I did have pain and swelling. It could just be a pinched nerve tho.

Not a dr. and don't wanna give advice other than i'd call my pcp and ask to come in to see what he/she says.

Met my first goal, met my second goal, met my surgeons goal. Now I have a new goal!

I'm going with pinched nerve.  Weight + sitting all day could most definitely cause that pain.
