Could I have stretched my pouch?
It seems like when i eat soups or drink liquids, i consume more than 4 ounces kinda fast. I'm just almost a month out. Does anyone else experience that??
It also seems like when i eat vegetables like green beans, cabbageor greens as an entree, i get hungry fast. Is that normal? Is it possible that i stretched my pouch?

It's really really hard to stretch your pouch. It is usually made out of the part of the stomach that is the hardest to stretch. The thing that can get stretched out is the stoma. The exit hole of your pouch.
but odds are it is one of two things:
1. your stomach may not be totally healed yet so you aren't feeling the restriction right now you will be feeling later. Seems like mine hit at 3 to 4 weeks and Hello Mama! it made a difference.
2. the stuff you are eating more of isn't very dense. It mushes down more so you can fit more in.
Everybody freaks thinking they can drink faster than they should be able to. That is normal. You should be focusing more on proteins than lots of veggies right now. It will fill you up better and you need it. veggies and salads shrink down and you can eat more.
so, if I had to guess I'd say no, you have not stretched anything. Just follow your doctor's instructions and you should be fine. We all worry that we've broken it or that ours doesn't work. Hang in there.

I agree with the other posts.
Lesson one - eating protein = feeling full for longer
at my bariatric centre we are instructed to make protein the focus of our meals with veggies/fruit second and a food from the bread group third If there is room. We have a booklet with instructions on foods at each stage of healing up to the diet for life, along with how to add protein to your food/liquid intake. When I follow these instructions, I find that I can feel full and not be hungry until the next time to eat.

Liquid, mushy stuff goes right through you so you will be able to eat more than what is recommended. However, just because you can, you shouldn't. I still stuck with no more than 4 oz of anything (food wise) that early out. Now, like the others states, wait until you eat the denser foods, you'll be surprized that even 2 oz of that will fill you up.
Unlike a "normal" stomach...there is no controlling valve in the bottom.
So it's best to look at like a funnel...with liquids and mushies, they will pass through the tunnel quicker (Slide through). When you get to proteins, it won't move as fast through the funnel.
Also another reason that Chewing well is SO important. (My surgeon recommended counting out 30 chews...if you have to swallow before you get to 30, you've taken too big a bite.)
Hope this visual helps!
