Older women and losing and regaining weight- not good news!

Article in medicalnewstoday.com: Regaining Weight Bad For the Health.

Truly not good news, as if we didn't have enough bad news on this front already. It's a study of 78 postmenopausal women and their percentage of regain as a group, and also that while both muscle and fat were lost, mostly fat was regained. Also bone density was lost and not recouped.

Yikes! All the more reason to exercise and avoid regain.

Great...like I really needed another EXCUSE...

Actually, I pretty much already was aware of that "stuff", and would REALLY like to beat the odds....

SO...I keep plugging away...protein first...exercise regularly..rinse and repeat...

Yikes!  All the more reason to have a DS and avoid regain. (*grin*)

Oh, I do hear that DSers can regain, too, as well as have their own set of complications. I do envy that you can eat more, but self discipline is a good thing. For me, I already have my insides rearranged enough.
