I seem to have a small leak

Went to doctor for physical this week.  She says I have to get up and lower GI checks done.  She thinks I have a small blood leak someplace.  Oh Goody.  Don't seem to have any symptoms.  Oh well, was due for a colonoscopy next year anyway.

Anyone have any ideas?

Polyps? Ulcer? Hemorrhoids? Who knows? Glad you're getting it checked out!

Sorry - what brought about the diagnosis of a "small blook leak" somewhere in your body?  Absent of symptoms, why does your doctor think your cardiovascular system isn't at full physical integrity?  Is your stool red or black?

Why does she think you have a leak?

Are you anemic and she thinks maybe you are losing blood?

There isn't any blood in my stool that I can see, she says it would be microscopic.

I am anemic?  Well I have been most of my life, but I don't have periods anymore so she thinks I shouldn't be anemic anymore.  I feel fine and I work out at Zumba and I walk 4-5 miles a day.  I am tired at the end of the day, but I'm not tired all day long so I don't know.

I'm really looking forward to the cleanout before the colonoscopy.  It is so fun.  I had bleeding ulcers before surgery, but I thought they were gone because it was so long ago.  They don't even bother me.    Perhaps because I do the Omprezole I am masking the owie.
