March 31st Mid Maryland Meet and Walk

Hi All,

It’s almost here!  Our first official Mid Maryland Meet and Walk is scheduled for Saturday March 31, 2012 at 10am.  The Centennial Park main entrance is located at 10000 Route 108, Ellicott City, MD 21042 and I’ll grab a table near the boat rental office.  I plan to set up a table cloth and have a balloon or two so you’ll know it’s me .  I went out to the park last week and found that there is a small portion of the walking path that is under construction that is under redevelopment but they have set up an alternate path for the adventurous.  The path totals 2.6 miles and there are some “hilly" sections but the whole things goes around the lake and there are benches along the way and I simply turned around when I needed to and came back to where I started.  The boats aren’t available to rent until Memorial Day so we have a great reason to come back!  If you can’t make it this weekend, I hope to also be here the following Saturday April 7, 2012.
