Getting kicked or hit in the stomach area
I was kicked today by a student in the stomach area. I think I moved quickly enough to keep if from being a direct hit to my left side (where most of the scars and surgery is located). I don't see a bruise, but my stomach area hurts.
I am 14 weeks out. (3 1/2 months) I assume most everything is healed, but I worry.
Anyone else ever get hit or kicked in the stomach on accident.

After 14 weeks I would assume everything is healed but if you are concerned, you should call your surgeon.

havnt had my surgery yet but this is one of the first ?? i asked the doctor since my son is two and loves to jump on me. I asked him what if i get home and my son jumps on me or lands on my stomach his exact words were it will hurt like hell. so wide eyed of course i said well i know but could he rip something or cause a leek he said no. I also asked about him maybe pulling on my jb tube. He looked at me and said hide it I just looked back and said you dont know my child lol Loretta
Lorreta,
I never thought to ask about it and probably should have with some of my students.. My local dr. called me and told me it should be okay. That if I am still experiencing pain or discomfort or it comes back to go get X-Ray done ASAP.
I'm not hurting now and actually feel great today. No bruises, no pain.
