I absolutely love Bariatric Advantage shakes. I've tried chocolate and Iced Latte so far. It is whey protein isolate, i think its 27 grams if made with water, more if you use skim milk. They are between $50-$60 for a bag but no protein-ey taste so i think its worth it.

An egg-based protein may suit you better, or go for the real thing instead.  Ricotta cheese is very easy going down, and SF custard, too.

I would hazard a guess you are a little allergic to the powder you are using.  I had to try about 4 of them before I found one that I really liked.

Usually the whey based ones are good.  I went with Bene-Protein from Wal-Greens, but you have to order it online.

Good luck with whatever you try.

Everyone is so different that it is hard to tell you what would work for you.
