I will be 5 yrs out this coming August.  To date I have regained about 45 lbs.  My hunger has increased and I can tolerate more than I have before.

Spoken to doc about doing "Plication of Gastrojejunostomy" (revision). Has anyone had this done with Dr. Meilahn @ Temple Hospital in Philadelphia?

Thx for any feedback

This is also called the Rose procedure or Stomaphyx---and unfortunately doesn't have a very good track record. You might want to post this on the Revision board.

I am not sure what kind that is, but my dr talked about doing something totally different to me.
I will try and get the official name for you and let you know.

Thanks Melissa.

I have a call into my doc's surgical asst and she's supposed to call me tomorrow to answer all my questions.

Let us know what they say.  We did several Stomaphyx with mixed results.  Would be glad to help you any way with information.

Spoke to his surgical asst yesterday.  If insurance approves will fix
Hiatal hernia and do revision. Basically just
Make adjustment to opening of pouch a little tighter
Weightloss generally between 20-25 lbs
