Riddle me this Batman...
...I know most of us will remember that phrase ;-)
Here's my question... I'm in Phase 2 and it says to have 4oz protein shakes as snacks. So this morning, I decided to prep 3 shakes so have them for my midday snack and maybe tomorrow. So per the instructions, I get 8oz to 2 scoops of protein powder - so I use 12oz milk and 3 scoops of powder for 3 shakes, put them in the blender to blend them up real good and I measure out the first 4oz and well, if it doesn't look like I have 20 more ounces to measure out, I've got none.
So I measure out 8oz to save for later and there's still about 4oz left in the blender.
So when do I measure out "4oz protein shake"?? In the ingredients, or in the final product? I'm truly stumped by this. lol

The final product is what you measure out to drink because it is not a protien shake until all ingredients are prepared to make the shake

Let it set in the blender for a few minutes because it gets frothy. If you'll look closely you'll see that the top 2-3 inches is just foam.
Unless the protein powder says otherwise, they're likely fine for 24 hours. BUT, that said, I did use one product that specified to use the mixed protein within 2 hours of mixing. Mixing with water will make less "foam" too. DAVE
