Suspicious Message

I just received a message from someone asking me to send them a donation of money for their surgery - any amount I can spare. Just thought I'd warn people on the board, I know it's "off topic" but I smell a scam. I forwarded the message to member services.

Thanks for the warning. It sure does sound like a scam.

Did they provide an address to send the money to?  Tell them to wait day and night for your envelope to arrive.....never!

Yep unfortunately even here on OH we get spam, annoying but you did the right thing, report and delete.

Good job. I would have done the same. Maybe that person does need some head surgery for asking...
