5 yrs post-opt and food balling up....????

I'm 5 yrs post-opt this July. I've in the past been able to eat small portions of bread with my food. Pretty much eat anything I want. But lately if I eat even a small amount of bread with my main nightly dinner I'm in so much pain it's not funny. When I vomit either by force or by nature it's like the food it just collecting like a cat fur ball. What's going and why now? 

Sounds like a stricture.  Talk to your doctor.

I agree with the first poster, check with your doc, it may be a stricture but if something else you should get it checked any way. An endo should tell as well as fix the problem. While I don't have an RNY my friend went through 5 of those suckers. I am having my 3rd dealt with on Friday. I am relatively new but my surgeon told me that it was absolutely not normal to be having this go on. Mine isn't about bread, though, since I can't tolerate it at all right now. Just give the office a call and try to avoid the offenders in the meantime.
