Peer to peer..... cross post

I have been approved for my lapband removal but denied the VSG from Fed Blue cross. According the the insurence the dr can request a peer to peer review, Anyone done a peer to peer? What is the process????

From what I understand, your surgeon talks to a doc on the insurance side and explains why you need the VSG covered, details about the band problems, etc.  It's your doc talking to someone who knows what he's talking about.
