asparagus

Anyone have any bad experiences with asparagus???

Only that it makes my pee smell ...

If it isn't cooked to a nice soft texture I have trouble with the stringiness of it, especially if it is the bigger older stalks.

I don't have any issues with it...but I cook it as follows:

Chop into small pieces (about the size of a cube of cheese)...sprinkle with black pepper and oregano.  Cook covered until you can easily ma**** with a wooden spoon.  Then I stir in two eggs (for one medium size bundle) and it is amazing.  It sounds and looks disgusting but the taste is wonderful. 

I have a sleeve and I have no problems with asparagus.  In fact it is my vegetable of choice at most meals!
