For anyone to reply accurately they need to know what type of surgery you had.

after 6 years, you probably function pretty normally, so i guess a moderate diet of lower fat protein sources,  whole grains, fruit and vegetables plus exercise is pretty standard for anyone wanting to lose weight. personally, i'm currently losing regain and i avoid processed food and fads (even though sometimes i wish i had a quick fix).

Hi there! I had RNY 9 years ago and had trouble with regain at one or two points. I encourage you to click the "Long-term post-ops with regain struggles, click here to see some steps for getting back on track" link in my signature line. There I outline what steps I took to get my dietary lifestyle back on track and then to maintain my health.

You can do it!
