6 week post op and stalled

It has been a whole week without any movement on the scale.  I have read enough on this website to know this can happens.  But, it seems impossible to not lose when eating so little.  I average about 500 calories a day and 50 grams of protein, drink 5-8 glasses of water.  Each day gets better and I am drinking more fluids, the first 3 weeks were a real struggle.

I am not concerned about the stall, because I have read enough of the stories from the losers bench, but my DH encouraged me to post for ideas/support.

Susan,

I'm about a week behind you, and have noticed the weight loss is slow.  I've also wondered how it's possible to not lose when eating so little.  I think maybe we are not eating enough, but it's very hard for me to eat more than I already am.  I'm averaging about the same as you on calories, protein and water.  Maybe some of the vets can offer some suggestions.  In the meantime, know that you're not alone in this stall.

Kathy

Thanks Kathy - it's nice to know I am not alone on this journey.
