Acne flare ups after surgery!?!?

I was just wondering if anyone else had acne flare ups after surgery. I'm only 5 wks post op but almost a week later I have been breaking out with random pimples and my face is oily now. I called the nurse and researched online and found nothing on it.

some times what looks like acne is a zinc deficiency.

I am 7.5 months post VSG and I randomly started to get pimples like a teen going through puberty! Not early out but more recently I have. It's annoying and weird. My skin isnt ful oil, its more dry now actually! And I have thick full hair, I used to go a few days with out washing it which is healthy, now I cant go more than 2 days with out it getting oily and icky. It's crazy how your body changes.

It could also be hormonal from weight loss.

With the initial weight loss there are a ton of hormones back in the blood stream. Many say that's the reason for their acne post op - it's the same reason women can be extremely fertile after rapid weight loss. It's probably the hormones being released - many get it in the first 6 months when weight loss is the fastest.
