hi, I have read various things regarding getting back to sleeping in your bed and stairs restrictions... so my questions are:

How long before you were able to sleep in your bed again and how was the comfort level once you were able to go back to your bed?

Did you have any stairs restrictions post op? I live in a 4 story home.....

thanks OH fam!

I slept in my bed the night I came home with no problems.  Short stairs were fine, I can't remember when I walked upstairs as my bedroom is on the first floor.

I slept in my own bed right away, slept on my rightside with pillows propping my tummy.  Bedroom on first floor so don't know about that.  but i think I could've climbed stairs the first day

I have bedrooms upstairs. I was not one of the people that felt great post op. I went upstairs twice a day only-once to nap & once at night. I was not comfy in my recliner but was good in bed propped on my side. I was very uncomfortable, though, whenever my boyfriend moved, so he gallantly slept in the gust room till I was better.

great, thanks so much. I am glad to hear I won't have to spend time in my recliner like I did after my rotator cuff surgery.

I had no restrictions on bed or stairs. I slept in my bed first night and my packets says stair climbing is ok.

I did stairs fine right away and slept in my bed the first night. Felt much better than with my other surgeries!
