OT: Going in for surgery Wednesday to remove ovarian cysts.

Wednesday I go in for another surgery to remove a bunch of ovarian cysts.  If you've had experience with this surgery, please let me know about your experience.  I'm not concerned. I know I'm in good hands, but just not sure what to expect.  Thanks in advance :)

I've had this surgery, but it was over 20 years ago, so I'm not sure how relevant my experience is.  From what I remember, I felt much better after the surgery than before because the cysts I had were extremely painful.  I had mine done with an open incision, and I spent one night in the hospital and was out of school for two weeks, then out of PE for at least a month after that (I was in junior high).  I did develop adhesions from the scar tissue, and they had to go in and break them up, but that was last summer--20 years after the original surgery.  I doubt it will be any more painful than your RNY.
